swampgas2 ( read my profile ): Elisa Skimmer. Flies April - October. This is widely distributed in the northern states and Canada . This is not an abundant dragonfly and is seldom found.
swampgas2 ( read my profile ): Eastern Amberwing.. Small dragonfly 11/2 inches. Habitat is shore of ponds, lakes and slow moveing water ( streams and rivers ) Flies May - October
swampgas2 ( read my profile ): Pond Hawk . I chased this one halfway down the lake before it came to rest. It was only momentary though ! Raining today and won't get a chance to be back until monday.
