We are finally getting more than a dusting. i woke up this morning to a good cover of snow. Getting my cameras ready to go out.

Female Goldfinch, They are still showing up at the feeder but in fewer numbers. ( natural selection ).

Brown headed Cow Birds and a few starlings. A whole flock of them dropped by to dine.

Metzgers Marsh, This starts at the east end of Reno Beach and extends eastward, becomes the Ottawa National Wildlife preserve and then McGee's Marsh. These are the main preserves but there are a ton of smaller areas a long the shore and up the tributaries

Reno beach, a year round comunity directly on the shore of lake Erie. this is the eastern end. It streches westward for 2.5 miles ending at a huge marina.
