I have been inactive as of late. House has a million things that need to be done. Like painting, minor repairs to walls , woodwork, and other items both inside and outdoors.

First of the season, Since I was out last, holiday decorations have popped up everywhere. I think most persons are trying to beat the nasty weather which is due to hit tomorrow.

The open space between my house and the neighbors. The fog at this point has gotten thicker. You can see a pile of leaves ( between the trees ) on the edge of the pond about 200 feet from my back door. Everything beyound that is just a white-gray wall.

Winter wardrobe, most of the leaves are on the ground. We have had some rain which has raised the level of the water but it;s still not near normal.

Husks of the Beech nut. Some still have nuts in them. The squirrels we going nuts. I woke up one morning and my back yard was full of squirrels. Collecting the nuts and fighting with one another over the nuts It was a mad house for sure and funny to watch

Election morning autumn scape. Just getting ready to face the the unpredictable world we live in. Another day of loop tune lolly pops and morons, those who had a chance but never grasp it, or those who were just plain dumb with no chance at anything.

Indian Summer, Not to many evenings like this left. Temps in the 70's sun is behind the dark clouds on the horizon which represent a cold front moving in.

Autumn is a busy time of year. You get color change, which keeps people like me busy but it's also a busy time for farmers. They are out in the fields harvesting from sunup until sunset. Thats when I got this one bring in his crop of soy beans.

Autumn Color, Things are starting to take off as far as color in fall, They say we will reach peak in the next few days so I am going to be busy. Tempretures are going down into the 30s now and they are predicting frost.

Autumn is official and so is the unstable weather we will be getting from now until the beginning of winter. Coming back from the store in Fremont I found this a long Buckland Ave.. It's a sign of the season.

Common Checkered Skipper, my backyard. We had just finished tearing a swimming pool down. It was half full of a very green algae colored water full of bugs. This made a visitation to the drying muck we removed from the pool bottom.

Monarch, this and other were a long the bank of the Sandusky river. They were getting minerals from the mud on the river bed and food from the flowers still blooming. ( mostly Asters )
