The green tip butterfly, also known as the blackberry tip butterfly, is a butterfly from the blue butterfly family. It owes its name to the green underside of its wings, which camouflage it very well in the foliage.

Pasque flowers usually bloom in April, but occasionally you can also find individual flowering plants in the fall. I spotted and photographed these blooming with dewdrops in a chemist's garden yesterday, October 31th!
