ran all three beach cities half marathons this year. received that extra clamshell medal as a prize. woot. barely trained for today but was able to get 2:19 (9 mins away from my personal record). Long Beach felt like the hardest compared to Huntington

They were giving out names at church so I asked Maureen to pick one out of the basket for me. Louis Modafferi was a captain at the FDNY and a candidate to become the next chief. He was not scheduled to work that day but he was one of the first responders
