Peter Seelig: Thursday, the ruins of yesterday’s future
wingerjohanne: We were driving home from Oslo, and what do you do when you get a bit bored of looking at and endless street. You take pictures of it, but only if you are a passenger. Remember that that, folks..
wingerjohanne: A wall of trees that are protecting the fields from the cold wind from the north. Trees are useful. You can even hug them. I do that every day. True story.
wingerjohanne: There was ice on the pond this day. I remember that and I thought about the fish, If they wanted to jump, they would get a terrible headache, I worried. So I don't hope that happens.
wingerjohanne: I am not so sure where I took this picture. I taake many pictures of trees, but I think this is at Albystranda. I had been seaside to take pictures of the fjord. It was sunny that day. So nice. .
wingerjohanne: I passed this red building at Reier, and I decied that one day I will move in there. It doesn't matter that it is small as long as I can play basketball or barbeque. The flash went off again. Uff.
wingerjohanne: I got up grumpy. It rains, and it is cold. Then I remembered the apple lamp I made. I turned it on, and the light made me less grumpy. Something red always cheers me up..
wingerjohanne: Sometimes the light up here is special. I like that, and I wish it so much welcome. After all the days are usually dark, so the more light the better it is. Almost.
wingerjohanne: So many trees and branches have fallen down this year. I think it is sad to see. But they don't remove it at Alby. It is nature back to nature. But I have told you that before. Haven't I?
wingerjohanne: I wish everyone here on flickr a peaceful Christmas! It's just a few days until Christmas Eve, and I really do hope you all will enjoy it. Merry Christmas to each of you!!
wingerjohanne: This is Krapfoss on a nice day. I think it has been raining since I took this picture. Now I am going to Sweden to see if the weather is better there. Have a nice day!
wingerjohanne: I am reading "The Secret Life of Trees". This tree doesn't look too well, but it must be very strong standing up there in all kinds of weather. What a hero it is. I recommend the book!
wingerjohanne: I was at Alby looking for Christmas tree. They were all so beautiful, so I couldn't make up my mind. But I could have coffee made over the fire and cakes if I wanted. That was nice.
wingerjohanne: I wanted to cross the fields again, but I didn't want to break my legs now that it is Christmas, so I changed my mind and went to the horses. They wouldn't walk either, so I drove home. Now it is raining..
wingerjohanne: Under the stairs, where not so many goes, I found Santa's kids. Even Rudolf was there. Santa would never leave his kids alone, so he is here somewhere. I'll find out.
wingerjohanne: In August everything was still green. Some of the branches in Røed Alle had to go, and I didn't like that. I told Hans, but he knows better than me, he said. The trees belong to him, so I better believe him. Or maybe I don't..
wingerjohanne: Memories of the old days in the middle of the street. The wheel belonged to a factory that produced glass, bottles and things like that. It is gone now. The industry, I mean. Everything changes. There are big houses there now.
wingerjohanne: We didn't get much snow last week, but what we got was at least white. I hope we will get a white Christmas too. Oh, now I started to think of Bing Crosby. He is on the radio every day together with Chris Rea who is driving home for the holidays..
wingerjohanne: I thought I was sitting there looking at nothing at all, but that was not the case. I saw a green leaf that said "I'm here. Can't you see me?". I did. I saw.
wingerjohanne: We have dark days now. Dark and rainy. But this morning I can see the moon out there, so I think we also will have a sunny day. I haven't seen the sun in a long time. I've missed it..
wingerjohanne: I am just standing here waitng for the fog to go away, and I have done so for many days now. Please help me to push the fog away. Thank you.
wingerjohanne: The leaves have created a carpet in golden colors, and the trees are standing there naked. In a few months they will look different. I like that thought. I like spring.
wingerjohanne: I remember what summer is like. That's why I don't like tall the rainy days we have now. This is where the horses live. It's so nice there, I think.
wingerjohanne: Mossefossen knew where it was going and it was in a hurry. The fjord was waiting for it. The fresh water was going home to the salt and restless sea. That is what most waterfalls do. They go home..
wingerjohanne: I have taken many pictures of the deer in Nesparken. It expresses so much fear that I feel sorry for it. Yes, it is a sculpture, I know., but still...
wingerjohanne: This has nothing to do with Halloween. It is a vase I saw at a table where I was sittting drinking my smoothie. I think I saw a face in there. But there are no faces in a vase, I told myself. Uff.
wingerjohanne: It seems to me that the tree up there insists on living on the top of the huge rock. Maybe it is because of the great view. It can't be the tough wind that sometimes blow there. it just likes it there, I guess.
wingerjohanne: The broken branch is still in the water. Its colors are changing. Everything is changing outside now. It's getting more colorful before it turns white. It could happen this month, but I don't hope so.Brrr.
wingerjohanne: The light falls down in a funny way. It comes in chunks. No, the small houses were looking at me, and that made me nervous. I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing. But I was in Larkollen. Usually a very nice place..
wingerjohanne: There is a big pan flute at Reierstranda where the sheep usually spend their days, but I have never heard or seen any of them play on it. I didn't know that sheep liked music at all, but the world is full of surprises.
