Beside this Northrop X-21A was a large photo-resolution target, so clearly still in use. This was an extensive rebuild of Douglas WB-66D Destroyer 55-410 with a new wing, re-positioned engines and other mods. Should be in a museum really.

It was a long, hot but enjoyable walk though the high desert to reach this F-100A Super Sabre. 52-5760 is probably in use as a target on the photo range here at Edwards AFB, CA.

You can drive your car within a few hundred yards of this Voodoo- it's the easiest one to reach. 53-2422 is a NF-101A, c/n 5. The 'Plane Tag' people contacted me to use these photos, so maybe it's a bit more skeletal these days.
