The open space between my house and the neighbors. The fog at this point has gotten thicker. You can see a pile of leaves ( between the trees ) on the edge of the pond about 200 feet from my back door. Everything beyound that is just a white-gray wall.

First of the season, Since I was out last, holiday decorations have popped up everywhere. I think most persons are trying to beat the nasty weather which is due to hit tomorrow.

I have been inactive as of late. House has a million things that need to be done. Like painting, minor repairs to walls , woodwork, and other items both inside and outdoors.

Northern Flicker, Showed up at my bird feeder yesterday a long with some Blue Birds, House Finches and Song Sparrows. The Gold Finches were there but not in the large numbers that have been showing up.

Blue Bird, He and his mate showed up today at the feeder.

The Hairy Woodpecker's are going to be regulars at the bird feeder this winter. They have been here every day during the morning.

A very very cold sunset on the last day of November. Temps well below freezing with ice starting to form on the leeward side. This won't freeze as long as the wind is whipping it up.

A very cold evening on last day of November. Looking down river toward the lake. Wind is ripping down the river and the chill is so bad I only grabbed one shot before ducking back into the warmth of the car.
