Flying though a sea of puffy cumulous clouds is probably the closest I'll ever get to the edge of Earth's atmosphere. Looking out the Frontier plane window on the way to Florida from New York, I was absolutely mesmerized! Somewhere in the USA. June 2021

My younger son entertains two of his "Prickles" Beanie Baby hedgehogs by reading his favorite book. After shooting 35mm for a long time, I went back to my 110 film roots using an Asahi Pentax Auto 110 miniaturized SLR. What an amazing camera!
WAVZ 13:
Teaching my son the love of photography using the simplest camera in my collection - a 1972 Kodak Pocket Instamatic Model 20. He thought it was pretty cool to take pictures, then get the prints back from CVS. Nyack, New York. March 2003
WAVZ 13:
The very last photo I ever took with my 1972 Kodak Pocket Instamatic Model 40. My son in a sleepy mood on the sofa at my parents house one summer evening. There was something very cozy about the lightning which caught my eye. Aug 2003

Connecticut may be one of the smallest states, but the pizza here is MASSIVE! A week's worth of pie for just 12 dollars. Now that's a deal! Having dinner with two friends somewhere deep in the Constitution State. Feb 2019.

There comes a tipping point when you finally realize that your new smartphone takes better photos than your real camera under certain circumstances. My vintage 1998 Honda Accord in the driveway at dusk. Pearl River, New York. Feb 2020

Oh darling... I just LOVE my new 1965 Chrysler New Yorker! The unmatched comfort of its interior, the curved glass for improved visibility, Torsion-Air suspension for the smoothest ride ever! Meet you at the country club for a Martini.
WAVZ 13:
My younger son thoroughly enjoying a slice of pizza as captured by the same Kodak Pocket Instamatic 40 which took hundreds of my own childhood pictures decades earlier. April 2003.

Sorry... a day late! New York Harbor with lots of ships including an NYFD fire boat spraying water. The Good Year blimp flies over the Statue of Liberty. All were celebrating America's Bicentennial on July 4th 1976.
WAVZ 13:
OK... so there's only one frame left on a cartridge of 126 black and white film and you want to use it up. What do you do? I yelled out to my friends to "act silly". The result is history. Milford, CT. August 1972
WAVZ 13:
My older son gives his kid brother a ride while wearing my old WAVZ radio Boogie Shirt. Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, I became fascinated with the Pentax Auto-110 camera. A tiny, fully functional SLR, it uses 110 film cartridges. July 2003
WAVZ 13:
My older son became fascinated with music very early in life. Here, he's hanging out with the brilliant 1990s child singer, "Blind Lemon Pie". Needless to say, I felt compelled to capture both of them on film together. New York. March 2003.
