꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: The red deer were in full song this morning.... You can see his breath. (It was a bit cold!)
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: He rose slowly out of the ferns....
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: Caught in a moment where he wasnt bellowing at the other stags
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: and then he turned... and looked straight at me....
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: This stag had just been fighting near the car park. I witnessed them galloping full pelt into some runners but I'm guessing the runners must be used to the stag rut as they just swerved out of the way. I captured this beauty on his way back via the pond.
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: The bigger stag on the right won this round, though he looked a bit worse the wear when crossing the pond later....
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: At this time of year, the stags are not the most tolerant, even if the Magpies are keeping them tick free...
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: A fine figure of a Stag sniffing the air for those female hormones...
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: Looking very tired and very much the worse for wear after a marathon fight on the other side of the pond, the winner crosses the pond back to the fern fields.
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: The dignity of stags.... Love to watch them at this time of year.
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: How I love Autumn and its offerings!!
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: One of Autumn's greatest treasures
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: 'All's fair in love and war...'
꧁༺꧁ღ⊱♥ Amanda Collins Eade ♥ ⊱ღ: Singing the song of his people.....
