On a wild, windy rainy morning, there wasnt a squirrel to be seen... but I spotted this beauty in the foliage. A bit bedraggled, I got a few seconds before he scampered higher up.

He is a Lesser Tenrec, he's twice the size of my other male Tenrec, Azizi, but still fits on my hand and is a doll... even if he likes to think of himself as the Tenrec version of a British Bulldog....!

Raised by humans, I think you can tell that this friendly fox, attacked by his own, is very comfortable around people. He's called Ted and he's a joy! He really likes the cameras!!
