Sunrise this morning…

Sometimes you just needle simple, ribbed knit hats. The first is in nice, seasonal colors. 🍁🍂 The second is a sparkly black watch cap. It’s hard to tell from the photos but in sunlight or artificial light, the hat does sparkle lik

Emotional Support Chicken. 🐓 She has a bit of a distended crop so she’s wearing a shawl to hide it a bit. I’m working on another ESC chicken that’s is alllllmost done. Just have to do the non-body pieces (beak, comb, waddle), sew and felt.

Toki in the sun yesterday and surprise snow this morning. Anyone else get snow?

I want to make a wooly sweater but I’ve got to finish this one to get the needles back. The sleeves need another inch and the body needs another two before I join everything.

Sleepy day in the sun. ☀️

Finished ankle socks and a new pair started. I love the wooden yarn-end-minders that I got at Maryland Sheep and Wool this year. They are adorable and work great. 🐈🐕🐑

Cat sweater for Toki. I honestly don’t think she minds wearing it but it’s too tight. I’ll make a larger one… and another two times larger than that for Nathan. 🐈🐈⬛

Sheng Wang at Lebanon Opera House tonight. Great show. @shengwangtime 🍓🍓🍓🍓

Just spent way too much time watching a flock of turkeys circle the house. They didn’t seem to bother the chickens. I was sure there was going to be a melee when they got to the deer in the backyard but neither side seemed to care.

Turkeys this morning…

My festival contest items all received blue ribbons. I gifted the felted hat to my Fiber Arts Center co-organizer Layne. I felted it too small for my big head and it fit her like a glove. A head glove. So, I guess, a hat?

What a day. The most beautiful Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival ever. I sleep now.
