trisho.: #Latergram from Thanksgiving day: lunch at Cafe Charbon in Oberkampf after food market shopping at the Bastille Market.
trisho.: I'm so happy I'm able to see Kehinde Wiley's new piece, "Lamentation" at the Petit Palais in #Paris in person. It's a beautiful and moving series, to see your tone in stained glass. It's open until January 25th and free to the public. Go see it if you can
trisho.: The view outside our window in the #14thArrondissement in #Paris. We're 5 floors up with no elevator. Getting in the exercise every day, but it's a gorgeous view.
trisho.: Sitting down to lunch after seeing the "The Color Line" exhibition at Musée du Quai Branly and got a little surprise. Bon jour La Tour Eiffel!
trisho.: We did well this #Thanksgiving: 3 different kinds of saucisses, broccoli sautéed with capers, tartiflette with roblochon & mushrooms, persimmon/lettuce/endive/Roquefort salad, and rotisserie chickens. And the pounds of saucisson, wines, desserts and chees
trisho.: Happy #Thanksgiving from Paris! With the lovely @digitam @jenncoledesign @ultraclay @gilbert_west
trisho.: On the train Paris to celebrate #Thanksgiving with some NY friends and I'm editing photos along the way. I'm planning to submit an application for an artist residency for the first time in my life ever. This was shot in Lisbon, Portugal in 2011 on film wi
trisho.: After a meeting on Thursday, I decided to walk to the office instead of taking the metro. I'm glad I did. Seeing the foliage actually filled me with joy and I got in a mile of exercise and fresh air. #latergram
trisho.: It's been a weekend of restocking the fridge and the pantry. I finally found (gorgeous) bulk apricots for my breakfasts at my favourite halal shop. Still completely stumped as far as meal planning for the week though.
trisho.: Trying really hard not to triple and quadruple screen today (when you count the iPhone in my hand). I'm distracted enough as it is already and need to plow through a mountain of work.
trisho.: Jim Beam shot and some cake a l'orange. Fuck it.
trisho.: I decided to reset a big after getting to Brussels last week and immediately getting food poisoning. Salad for breakfast: arugula, tomatoes, salmon, boiled egg, capers & a bit of brine, cucumbers, seed mix & EVOO. Off to the side are tiny strawberries and
trisho.: I finally found a place to get stock bones in Brussels. The halal butcher gave me about 8lbs of beef bones for €2!! I'm so freaking happy! Now I can make bone broth and stock later this week.
trisho.: I picked up a vintage post card of FDR when we stopped at the Jeu de Balle flea market on the way to the food market this morning. Only £1.50.
trisho.: In France, passing windmills on my way to Paris for the day.
trisho.: In the new home with the Mister.
trisho.: Late lunch was definitely worth the wait & restraint of not buying anything in the waiting area. I love Eurostar's meals in Standard Premier. Sometimes Standard Premier costs just as much or even less than a regular ticket depending on when you buy. The o
trisho.: #latergram from Sunday in Whitstable: Jersey (L) & Irish (R) oysters from an oyster & ice cream shack by the water. I definitely prefer the Jersey ones even though they were less briny. The Irish ones although delicious, were a bit too bulbous for my mout
trisho.: Waiting for my train to Brussels. The Eurostar sitting area cleared out in 10 seconds for the train to Paris.
trisho.: I bought a lovely dress for my birthday in Whitstable. It's the colour combination I love: coral, yellow and light blue.
trisho.: A quick seaside restaurant starter in Whitstable: a bowl of head on prawns. I had Ev shell them for me because I'm squeamish.
trisho.: Feeling kind of bad ass using my iPad as a second monitor doing #ux course planning. I use an app called AirDisplay by Avatron. It works really well and I'll use this until I settle down and get a proper desk and monitor.
trisho.: Sun setting in Buysscheure, France. Just passing through on the way back to London.
trisho.: With my friend Caroline in her little Belgian hometown of Visé. She just showed me the tiny chapel where her grandparents used to frequent. It only has room for about twenty people to worship.
trisho.: Just passing through on the way to Liege. I'll visit soon Leuven.
trisho.: This is the first meal Gilbert and I have made with the new kitchen tools I bought. The salad was made putting the onions and some of the cucumber through the Paderno Spiralizer. The borlotti bean soup was made in the Instant Pot electric pressure cooker.
trisho.: I actually just ordered "Le Fancy Shit" for brunch at my local restaurant in Brussels.
trisho.: We just finished another #UXDI class. I always end up ugly crying at the end. They also gave me this book. They know me so well in 10 weeks.
trisho.: I've been running around the whole morning trying to get immigration documents stamped. I'm rather discouraged but I guess a good part of this exploring my city as a tourist. I've never really walked this much around Old/Lower Manhattan.
trisho.: Y'all. My new hair is SHORT. I went in to get my twists detangled, cut out and retwisted but left with a fresh fade instead. I like it. I can feel the air on my scalp. This is also the first time I've really heard that I have "good hair". "You have what m
