Visited the Point Cabrillo light house in Caspar just north of Mendocino. Very nicely situated.

Did a bunch of wood working up at #sweetrockranch this weekend. Got all the wood cut for some adirondack chairs and some little folding stools for around the fire.

Finished the new 12 foot long dining table up at #sweetrockranch this weekend. So many coats of lacquer to protect it up there. We can now have meals with up to 10 people!

A view across the plaza at the Salk institute in San Diego. I love the contrast of the warm organic Japanese style window treatments with the geometric concrete.

The Bradbury building in Downtown LA. Most famously used as JF Sebastian's. Apartment in Bladerunner. It's like an inside out building with a glass covered lobby that feels like it could be outside due to the glass ceiling.

The Angels flight funicular railroad in downtown LA. A formerly quick way to manage the climb up a steep block.

Watts Towers south of LA. Built by hand in the 20s through the 50s by one guy out of metal concrete and discarded tiles.

Today's #haulofrecords in San Diego netted a holy grail record for me, the Air record by the band that isn't the one from France. Plus a record by some Nashville session country guys playing Abba songs. It might be great... Or it might be a frisbee.
