When your session features one amazing location after another - such a great night, and such a sweet girl. Erica, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
My last few sessions have been close to home and it's been really nice. Sometimes I think we overlook the beauty in our own backyard - and the cool backdrops right around the corner. Love this one from Sunday - Jacob, Class of 2017.

Her session was scheduled for tonight but as the day approached so did the chance of storms. So we rescheduled to last night and Mother Nature blessed us with sunny skies, cool temps and no wind. MSU Gardens was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful gir
Lisa Blumenthal:
You might recognize Madison from last week's sneak peek. We were going to take photos of her bunny then but it was just too hot for him to be outside. So we met last night and finished up her session. I love it when seniors include their fur babies!
Lisa Blumenthal:
Perfectly exquisite. Emily, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
She's like a little ray of sunlight. I didn't want her session to end! Hannah, Class of 2017. (Also shout out to @xcrunner07 for being my assistant! π)
Lisa Blumenthal:
Absolutely gorgeous. Jamie, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
The flowers on the island were simply spectacular. And made for amazing backdrops for this lovely girl's session. Taylor, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
Guess where we went for her session. Katey, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
When you have so many amazing images (because your client is perfectly adorable) you have to close your eyes and just pick one. π Anna, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
Oh Mackinac Island - you never disappoint. Lovely Arielle, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
I was sure it was going to storm during her session last night. But somehow we dodged the rain and were rewarded with soft summer light - and a beaming smile from Kendall, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
She has the most adorable head tilt when she smiles! Rachel, Class of 2017.
Lisa Blumenthal:
Long layover in Chicago. Already missing this place. Crazy how somewhere so far away can feel like home.
Lisa Blumenthal:
Thanks @garmin for keeping track of our miles while we are in the Tetons this week. (And as a side note - yes, the skies really are this blue out here!).
Lisa Blumenthal:
We fled the crowds today and explored an area east of the mountains, and then enjoyed a fabulous lunch of burgers, grilled cheese, fries - and a shared huckleberry shake. Thanks, Buffalo Valley Cafe. β€οΈ
Lisa Blumenthal:
Thumbs up for the Tetons! π
Lisa Blumenthal:
Frustrated with the crowds - I mean, come on, this spot, usually only visited by photographers, now has a designated parking lot and bathroom! - we are headed northeast tomorrow. But first, breakfast at Dornan's. π
Lisa Blumenthal:
Biking in the Tetons (bit of trivia - my daughter is wearing the same backpack my dad wore on hikes when I was a kid!).
Lisa Blumenthal:
We hiked to a new location yesterday - not far off the main highway but not on the map, either. Below is Hedrick Pond. We simply say and took it all in.
Lisa Blumenthal:
We had some adorable and super friendly photo bombers tonight.
Lisa Blumenthal:
Not going to lie - I struggled a great deal with my daughter's senior photos this morning. I guess I thought I could just waltz down to Schwabacher Landing with my cameras and start knocking off spectacular photos. This light was challenging and so differ
Lisa Blumenthal:
Up early and ready to start day 2 in the Tetons. We had a full day yesterday, which included a massive power outage that left the Jackson Hole valley and areas into Idaho without power for several hours. Even though we were tired we took this as a sign to
Lisa Blumenthal:
Smoke from the Cliff Creek forest fire had left a smoky haze over the mountains and valley when we arrived in Jackson Hole this morning. But by noon the wind had picked up, clearing the skies. We are grateful for this view but saddened by the destruction
Lisa Blumenthal:
United Airlines woke me early this morning with a text reminding me to check in for my flight to Jackson Hole tomorrow with @xcrunner07 . βΊοΈβΊοΈ
