Last appliqué block background is nearly finished. In leaving thread changes till the end so will start working on pieced blocks soon and then go back to add texture to the appliqué.

Here is a bonus bom I will be starting in my blog by end of the month. It is my first ever quilt pattern made in2010 and has never been available as a download. It should have run as a bom as the pattern is quite large. This will give me the time to fini

Top half of quilt is finished. I'm about to do a blog post about my plans for next bom and a bonus that I'm thinking about. That I'd love some opinions on.

Finished a corner last night at least they now look like flowers instead of lollipops. Glad leaves are quicker to do than flowers.

Just need the binding done and first quilt for 2015 is finished. Love the way it magically becomes a quilt when you trim back the batting.

Don't know why it is I leave the leaves till last but it's a habit and now I know that this section is nearly finished.

It's my turn today again for Xmas in July here is a close up of the satin stitch centre panel that I happen to find on my phone. It was a marathon stitching effort but well worth it.

Love it when the quilting looks as good as it did in my head. The rest if the quilt is partial blocks so hopefully these won't take as long to do.

This is my beginners class quilt. Going to have to quilt it bit each day. I hate using a walking foot and would normally for emotion straight lines in a quilt for me, but as this is a class sample I better make it look like I have a clue
