Last night was the best aurora show I've ever seen, and I've seen several. It was clouded in at home so I searched for clear skies all night. I found them along the Chief Joseph Highway, Wyoming. October 10, 2024.

I've seen northern lights in Wyoming before, but nothing this good. I literally took this shot outside my back door last night at 12mm and still only got a fraction of the sky. It was so bright you could see some of the reds and greens without a camera. W
