PeggyJG: Bus to PV. It takes 6 minutes to get to Puerto Vallarta from our time share. The ride comes with live music and plenty of locals on their way to work.

PeggyJG: A tulip field in Skagit Valley, the day after the Tulip Festival. The colorful flower heads were lying between the rows of foliage.
PeggyJG: St. Thomas, Magen's Beach. I kept waiting for the amazing Caribbean blue to appear. It barely did but it was an awesome place to swim anyway!
PeggyJG: Barbados. A beautiful island but I sadly spent the day in bed with a bit of the flu.

PeggyJG: Day 5. Tortola, BVI. We have taken a tour today and seen this mountainous island and a festive beach.

PeggyJG: McGraw Square. A Friday outing with the ad hoc Usk (not able to go to Chicago) group. Today's city sketch made me appreciate how difficult it must be for the Chicago skyscrapers!

PeggyJG: Zadar, Croatia. Two pretty lighthouses greet the harbor entering the city.
PeggyJG: Jersey Island. We took a short bus to the village of Gorey today. It was sunny but clean and cool. The rambling castle of Mont Orgueil overlooks the charming town and bay.
PeggyJG: Jersey Island. In the village of Gorey, the boats sit on the sand when the tide goes out and gently rise as the tide comes in.
PeggyJG: Jersey Island. I am so dazzled by deep beaches. This was sketched over tea at St. Brelade’s Bay.
PeggyJG: Valencia. I was up early today and watched the sunrise from our apartment window. We are lucky to have a school in front. We are unlucky that it is full of construction.
PeggyJG: Valencia. The Rio Turia used to flood the city. Now, it has been diverted and the riverbed is a vast playground for Valencianos. It’s a wonderful place full of runners, playgrounds, skateparks, paths and sport fields.
PeggyJG: Valencia. I saw my first Christmas lights in the opening of this shopping passage. I’m expecting many, many more here.
