And some more art on the other side of the table.

Bare kitchen walls livened up with a little Mattie artwork. I wanted to try to get some of her stuff framed, but that isn't happening anytime soon. So just sticking it up with washi tape will have to do.

One last visit to the zoo before our membership expires. I think we made pretty good use of it. But it was so hot there today. I think somehow there was a 25 degree temperature difference between our house and the zoo this morning some how. π:wat

Saw a coyote in the drainage ditch right by our house. It was a big one too. Happy our cats are both indoor cats right now.

My poor little goose had to have blood drawn at her doctors appointment today. They stabbed her in both arms before they found a vein. She was so strong, well not really she screamed her head off. But she still didn't freak out as much as I expected. :sy

Mattie had a great 2nd birthday (despite Mama being sick as a dog with a stomach bug). She was kind of terrified when everyone sang happy birthday to her, but cheered up as soon as she got tasty guava cake.

The joy on Mattie's face at waking up to a living room filled with balloons eases the pain of the last week a little. ππππππ
krakencrafts:
Mattie is pretty excited about turning two tomorrow, and about the giant balloon Dada brought home from work.

The bad news is last night America elected a racist, bigoted, misogynistic, sexual assaulting white nationalist to be the President of the United States. The good news is Mattie's first school pictures turned out really cute. Ugh. I can't believe she is
