A month in Spain and Portugal last fall and only now going through my photos. It poured almost every day. You don’t know what constant pouring Biblical rain will do to your psyche. Especially when you’re in a country where you don’t speak the language.

With so much uncertainty and sadness in the world, and in my world of late, it was nice to see this simple scene of a couple walking together, holding hands, enjoying nature in contented silence.

Interesting steampunk rolling installation at Maynard’s Art Space. Finding inspiration in current events is certainly challenging, but I’m awed by the creative inner workings of artists. I wish I had spent more time cultivating my artistic side.

Spring is slow to unfurl this year, with temps still dipping into the 30s here in Boston. But all the rain we’ve had is making it a truly spectacular (but chilly) spring.
