I saw the three Ju-52 3m at Dubendorf in 1982 when they were still in service. HB-HOS here used to be based here as A-701. In 2011 all three were taking sightseers for Alpine trips, as they had been doing since 1982. HB-HOT (ex A-702) unfortunately

It's not a secret, but how many people know that TAI build the F-16 in Turkey? F-16C 89-0032 looks very smart here in the museum at Yesilkoy, but of course the thing remains in servce everywhere.

As the Cold War got going, the USA paid for many aircraft for Europe under MAP. This F-84F is Dutch P-226, ordered from Republic as 53-6612. Seen here at Soesterberg, NL. This one was w/o in 1970, but served on as a G.I, which probably saved it.
Alfred Fartknocker:
Republic built the F-84F with a nose intake, but when they wanted a Recce' version- no place to put the cameras. The solution was to relocate the intakes and put the snappers in the nose. This RF-84F Thunderflash is 51-1901. Seen here in Istanbul- it flew

Maybe someone was trying to get an Aero team together- or maybe he did, then they stopped? Several Fouga CM.170 Magisters were looking a bit neglected at Chino, CA. This one is 511, N511FM. It's ex French AF.

During the QF-4 programme, there were usually a few Phantoms at Mojave, CA as BAe Systems worked their magic. This one is QF-4E 72-0168/ AF-347. It had been at AMARC as FP566, and was 'expended' in Sept 2011.
