Last of the light leaks from my expired film test run. A lonely, abandoned chair relaxing in the south Texas autumn sun, admiring the beauty of the day and the sounds of the shore.

The first shot I took with my newest Canon A1 on a roll of expired Portra VC. A pair of VW Bugs just hanging out in Annaville. Little did I know I'd have these cool light leaks.

Always a treat to have time to cruise the beach in Port Aransas during the off-season to see what I can find. Today, the beautiful weather did not disappoint.

A fun shot from underneath the JFK Causeway adjacent to the bait stands. This one also has some of the light leaks like my other shots a posted yesterday.

There's just something about those super calm mornings when the air is cool but has the feeling of summertime. The foggy days like this one let you hide the distractions and focus on just what is in front of you - whether you like it or not. When you go b

I'm ready for the holiday and Christmas baking to commence! I'm still drooling over these super decorative iced cookies from @hesters_corpus_christi

Talk about a gorgeous day today for our area. Sooooo many things are happening in downtown, we've got some (cooler) beach weather with sunny skies and a light breeze. It's the perfect day to be outside. The best part is that later this afternoon we're goi

As the fog slowly burned away yesterday morning, I had some time before my first shoot for the TAMUCC Alumni Association in downtown. I spent about twenty minutes on the boardwalk along the Peoples Street T-Head and gently snuck up on this brown pelican.

That early morning calmness yesterday over in Rockport-Fulton as the fog lifted was just magical. The water was glass, the birds quietly gliding, and boat crews taking care of business.

This was the pack of characters keeping me company at the end of the north beach breakwater next to the @uss_lexington_museum. They seemed like a shifty bunch but didn't cause too much trouble. They also weren't very attentive to the direction I was givin

Took a quick walk along the breakwater this morning to enjoy the morning's stillness after my meeting at the aquarium. A pack of pelicans kept me company for the few minutes I was out there. I snapped a few shots of this channel marker that's caught my at

Woohoo! It's a beautiful day, it's Friday, the sun is out and the sky is clear! Throwing it back to 2012 with this shot down on the Peoples Street T-Head. Through tons of practice and self-teaching, I've learned more about composition and the rules of fra

I really am liking this early cold weather we've had the past few days, but I'm ready for a few days of sun to recharge. The cold can stay, but please let the sun come back out. Here is the Lawrence Street T-Head in the Corpus Christi marina back in April

You have to hand it to the shimpers that are up early each day to trawl the waters of our bay in search of their daily catch. There's something calming about sitting on the seawall on a warm summer morning (definitely not like today's overcast cold weathe
