JamesEverett: Welcome to @playbyplayfest from @lucyamorris! Great day ahead :)
JamesEverett: Aw yeah, @playbyplayfest is happening! (Setup today, starts tomorrow) www.playbyplay.co.nz
JamesEverett: Home. And Wellington saved a nice day for us!
JamesEverett: Blast radius.
JamesEverett: I hope so, Japan. What an amazing & intense trip that was. Thanks to all who hosted @naviverse & I! (Posted from AKL, one more flight to WLG)
JamesEverett: A wild @naviverse appears! (This is before we did a bit of a sprint for our train to the airport)
JamesEverett: Her body was ready. (@naviverse still took food damage though) Tanmen Tonari on Tokyo Ramen Street.
JamesEverett: Golden Gai good times.
JamesEverett: Tokyo from above is one of my favourite sights.
JamesEverett: Ghibli Museum is awesomely delightful. So happy @naviverse & I got to explore it!
JamesEverett: We hung out with @johntv & the original Otaru crowd tonight, repping for @torontaru & @wellingtaru. Good times!
JamesEverett: Amazing katsu curry at Fukuyoshi in Harajuku just made my day before noon.
JamesEverett: Sakura in Shinjuku-gyoen Park by day. Ueno Park by night.
JamesEverett: After a week of being a little too early for hanami we caught a full bloom and crowd.
JamesEverett: The snow is gradually melting from Shirakawa-go.
JamesEverett: Yesterday we visited the historical village of Shirakawa-go with my friend Chiaki and her two awesome wee boys.
JamesEverett: On our way to Inuyama.
JamesEverett: Bye Kyoto, you've been a treat! Thanks @jkooza @dckyoto @baiyon_jp for the hospitality.
JamesEverett: Behind the walls of Sanjusangen-do is a remarkable sight, 1000 life size statues of the Thousand Armed Kannnon. Thanks for the tip @fatboss!
JamesEverett: Heavy Ramen find in Kyoto. Practically gravy instead of soup. Black sesame and spicy Thai, so good.
JamesEverett: To be here at this time of day, twice in my life, is some kind of special. So glad @naviverse got to see it.
JamesEverett: That sake surface tension.
JamesEverett: We got off the beaten track at Fushimi Inari and found a quiet walk.
JamesEverett: Thanks to @jkooza & Raj for wonderful chats with @naviverse and I, & one of the best curry experiences ever.
JamesEverett: Beautiful door to a Zen rock garden. (Public entrance was much bigger and had a door for groups and individuals.)
JamesEverett: Made it just before the rain muddied the reflection at Kinkaku-ji.
JamesEverett: @naviverse fits, so she sits.
JamesEverett: The five storied pagoda of Ninna-ji.
JamesEverett: A nice place to rest for a night.
JamesEverett: We're about a month early, but the Kobe Herb Gardens are still a lovely walk with a view.
