Okonomiyaki spot around the corner from the hotel. Looked like the only place to get a late meal in Arashiyama. Maybe an after-hours place for workers after the tourists leave? I was always either too early or too late and tired to go in. Next time.

Kikunoyu (hot springs bath house) on the left. Yamanaka-za (theatre) on the right. Yamanaka Onsen, hot springs resort town, in the mountains, Kaga-shi, Ishikawa-ken, Japan.

As I was putting on my shoes after the hot springs bath, two boxes of yuzu citron were delivered. During the winters in Japan, yuzu are floated in hot onsen waters for their scent. I wish I could have stayed to experience "yuzu-yu."
