I've never seen any of the birds before or after these shots were taken, hanging out at Mr. Frog's Place. It was cute to watch them engrossed in exploring it inside and out.

Last year I could put seed out anywhere to ensure a visit, here a Chipping Sparrow has found a treat. Chipping-Sparrows are smaller than House-Sparrow

The daisy bushes bloom in September and with them the butterfly visits continue through fall. This year even the butterflies stirred clear of bushes where Jack would leap up at them.

Local Predator - The Coopers Hawk likes to swoop through our backyard catching birds unaware, snatching them right off the feeders at times. Fortunately I've never witnessed this, nor have I seen him actually catch one of the Morning Doves off the ground
