Instead of basting the seam binding I pinned in. Then on the other side I made sure to stay inside of the furthest sliver of silver, :). Sorry I didn't take a pic of the other side!

The finished product! Not perfect but still pretty good. I made a vogue size 16, measure 38" bust, 30" waist, and 40" hips. I didn't make any pattern adjustments but plan on "tightening" the belt to bring in the waist.

So I've got my coat together (yay!) but this puckering in the upper back is bugging me, is there anything I can do? I've thought about re-doing the seam binding outside stitch...

I made the pockets! My welt pockets always pucker a little no matter what I do but still pretty proud, :). Just the seam binding left.

My seam binding is a little messy but hidden by the loudness of the print, ;). This by far is the most time consuming step!

Coloring is way off in this photo but overall I like the fit, definitely some room left for a bulky sweater if desired, :).

This is the underlining side. Got most of the puckering out of the collar and overall fit is pretty good.

These are my muslin prototype. One photo shows the weird triangle under sleeve I had some trouble with but resolved. I'm a DD, so I chose to go up one size to match my bust and take in the waist a little.
