R.C. Allen was a major luthier here in Los Angeles. He built over 1,000 guitars and over 400 banjos, all in his lap.....no bench. He was known for his incredible archtop guitars. I was recently honored to finish his very last guitar...a flattop acoustic.

Zemaitis guitars were very popular in the '60s and are known for their artistic design and great jumbo tone. This guitar was built by British luthier Tony Zemaitis in 1977. The company was sold to Japanese company Greco in 2010. neelyguitars.com

Here's the newly restored Ovation Adamas 12 string for Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. I posted a pic of the trashed bridge earlier notwithstanding the unusable electronics. All is well now and he will be picking it up soon.....they're getting back tog
