There were three Vought F-8 Crusaders in Consolidated/ UAC in Tucson, AZ- leftovers from a program for the Phillipines AF. This one is F-8H Bu.Aer 148666/ 03. It had VMF-112 on the rear fuse', so a USMC jet.

I like the Red Arrows, but the French Patrouille de France do a great job of flying the flag for France and the AdLA. This is Alpha Jet E31, F-TERK/ 5 landing at Fairford. This jet survives but was a rebuild with 41+51 for some reason.

855 Lockheed F-94 Starfires were made, but only 15 persist. This was developed from the T-33 but it was a very different a/c. 51-5623 survives in the Pima AM, a late model F-94C armed with 48 2.75" rockets. The F-89 Scorpion replaced these in USAF service

The yard of Western International, Tucson, AZ was a super place to spend some time, but regrettably it is a car park in 2025. This Caribou is CM003, so 62-4150 "YK", a C-7B reg'd N92NC. It was saved and moved to the Pima AM where it can still be found.

Daughter Louise poses with N80232 at Avra Valley, AZ. This Lockheed Neptune is SP-2H Bu.Aer 147948, ordered as a P2V-7. It was stored as PA016 for a few years, and is in store here. It's been re-registered recently, but is looking a bit tired these days.
