giantmike: This is the Fräkigaudi Toboggan Run we did while headed down after Mount Pilatus. It's about 1.3km long, and you really fly through the twists and turns.
giantmike: The scene here is just so vast and amazing. It was hard to start the trek back down.
giantmike: I thought it was really cool how this small peak held the cloud bank. Within 5 minutes, it was gone.
giantmike: What do we see here? Mount Eiger (the more shaded leak in the center) and Jungfrau (slightly behind and to the right, in the fog)!
giantmike: Goodbye Switzerland. Now quite as serene as the cow by the mountains, but a nice looking city when the sun comes out.
giantmike: Coffee is always a goos idea
giantmike: The swans of Zurich were very chill, even when being within 10 feet of them.
giantmike: The sun decided to shine just before we left Zurich. I had about 30 minutes of time before we needed to leave, so I used it to go grab a few photos.
giantmike: Alicia wanted a weird photo while walking down the streets of Zurich. Wish granted.
giantmike: I liked the charm of this side street. Just the right bend to it with the great dampened lighting.
giantmike: Zurich is definitely the biggest city we were in, but only for a night. The vines on this bridge are neat!
giantmike: One last look at the Chapel Bridge with the power of HDR.
giantmike: Just before leaving Luzern, we went across the bridge one last time. Finally not too many people.
giantmike: I thought the train station in Hergiswil was really colorful.
giantmike: All the while, there are unsettling noises, and sometimes bright flashes of light.
giantmike: This was amazing. We have all heard of mirror mazes, but this was the first glass maze I have been in. So there are reflections, but also seeing through. And they are you where soft booties and white gloves to make your way through.
giantmike: Some of the huge display of the archives.
giantmike: And some intricate work as the glass cools.
giantmike: After blowing the glass, it’s time to shape it.
giantmike: And so much fire!
giantmike: The room was constantly bustling we activity.
giantmike: We visited a glass museum in Hirgiswil. Included is the ability to watch glass blowers at work.
giantmike: Back down the mountain, and I found a sculpture I would expect to see at Epic.
giantmike: Ok, one more peak near Pilatus to check out, and now those low hanging clouds have disappeared.
giantmike: This is one of the places that the train is rising at 48 degrees steepness!
giantmike: Goats! We finally see some. I love the one poking its head up.
giantmike: Looking behind us, towards the more flat view, and I found the light editing this cliff perfectly.
giantmike: this is the highest point we got to around Pilatus.
giantmike: I too made it out on the cliff.
giantmike: Alicia is happy to be up here, even with a bit of rain starting.
