This wall around the sunken playground on the estate gives me a lot of joy, where I gradually planted a variety of small things that like to grow on walls. #guerillagardening

Thank goodness the beautiful Barons Court tube station finally found a good tenant. The @gailsbakery cafe looked particularly lovely in the sunset tonight.

Female ginkgo trees are hardly ever planted as street trees, as their fruits are smelly and messy when they drop. Don’t know whether this group of them near Spitalfields market were planted deliberately or by mistake, but the fruit look very pretty. The f

Half a year ago I had finished clearing the ivy from this border on the estate, and planted rudbeckia. It was a struggle to keep it alive over the hot and dry summer, and it flowered quite late, but this is it now. It should come back stronger every year.
