emptychairs: We learned very quickly that Hanoi doesn't really have western style restaurants. A couple plastic stools on the sidewalk is where most people apepar to eat their meals.

emptychairs: We left Hanoi and boarded a boat for an overnight stay on Ha Long Bay.
emptychairs: Ha Long Bay is pretty unbelievable. So beautiful.

emptychairs: A lot of the islands in Ha Long Bay have caves in them, this cave was particularly enormous. If I'm not mistaken, the entire cave is over 100 meters long.

emptychairs: On the boat we had a little cooking class, and Shanna learned how to make spring rolls.
emptychairs: All over the bay there are women with these little boats selling snacks and fruits.
emptychairs: A floating seafood market. I don't think seafood could be any fresher.
emptychairs: We went back to Hanoi and enjoyed some Bia Hoi. Bia Hoi is locally brewed beer, made without preservatives, and meant to be drank within a day or two. Fresh beer at 25 cents a glass... hard to beat.
