Dippingmytoes: I made these rather tasty deconstructed puff pastry pies on Boxing Day with the leftover turkey, carrots and sprouts and some creme freche.
Dippingmytoes: Made some Toor Daal. If you over cook it, it becomes lusciously creamy, you don't even need to add any oil/ghee/butter. Delicately spiced with chilli, cumin, coriander and turmeric.
Dippingmytoes: Is there anything more comforting than some freshly prepared chicken and sweetcorn soup on a stormy day? This was served Indo-Chinese style with soya sauce and vinegar infused with green chillies. Delish
