I made these rather tasty deconstructed puff pastry pies on Boxing Day with the leftover turkey, carrots and sprouts and some creme freche.

Made some Toor Daal. If you over cook it, it becomes lusciously creamy, you don't even need to add any oil/ghee/butter. Delicately spiced with chilli, cumin, coriander and turmeric.

Is there anything more comforting than some freshly prepared chicken and sweetcorn soup on a stormy day? This was served Indo-Chinese style with soya sauce and vinegar infused with green chillies. Delish
