digitaldust: the water level and the skyline change every day
digitaldust: two books sit side by side, an installation or a metaphor for this predicament.
digitaldust: some places are impassable. who doesn't want us to go this way?
digitaldust: the water ever rising, devouring buildings like a hungry, amorphous squid.
digitaldust: half bricked up windows

digitaldust: in the centre of the city there is an orrery
digitaldust: what was this contraption? it looks mechanically unfeasible in this world.
digitaldust: some plustens induce nausea
digitaldust: graffiti appears across both worlds
digitaldust: plustens seem to be the most unstable places. from the centre i catch glimpses of different skylines and the shadows fall in different directions.
digitaldust: someone pointed to a beast in the water, but when I turned to look it was gone.
digitaldust: otherworldly flora take root in the most formidable places
digitaldust: this pathway didn't go down yesterday
digitaldust: personal orreries are all over the city
digitaldust: the tubes glowed but seemed not to emit any light.

digitaldust: i see her face reflected in windows. i turn to look but she's gone. was she ever there? ever at all?
digitaldust: until this blue door I hadn't realised i was thinking in black and white.
digitaldust: the doors and passageways to the other side are never straight
digitaldust: most of the plustens are labelled. but no one seems to recognise this diverse heraldry or understand its meaning.
digitaldust: the castle
digitaldust: one end of the building is taken down and the other reconstructed. through this movement the building slowly travels across the city.
digitaldust: you have to be blind to see the city. or is it the city that is blind to us?
digitaldust: i always wonder where these doors lead to
digitaldust: relics of the past and future collide
digitaldust: this faded before my eyes, the camera managed to capture a last glimpse. where is queen street now?
