This packhorse bridge was built in 1725 and it spans the River Avon just south of Broughton Gifford near Melksham. A packhorse bridge is too narrow for a cart and the horses would have packs on their side to carry goods in. #Melksham #bridge #wiltshire #h

These are Cornish cows and because of the severe slopes along the cliff paths they all have longer legs on one side so they can stand up straight. Fact!
