Beekeeper Eric:
Always nice to see them up and eating within a couple days of being hived
Beekeeper Eric:
I think willows are blooming
Beekeeper Eric:
I hear these are supposed to be circles
Beekeeper Eric:
That'll wake you up on a Monday!

First eggs in the package hives
Beekeeper Eric:
Little syrup, little pollen patty, and leave them to get rolling
Beekeeper Eric:
Adding frames of feed, and turning the queens loose
Beekeeper Eric:
Always something
Beekeeper Eric:
There's a little gap between the frames where the queen cage is. Income back after 2 days to add the missing frames, and close that gap or it becomes cross-comb city
Beekeeper Eric:
Going up!
Beekeeper Eric:
I don't use package bees often. There's only a few cases where they make any sort of economic sense. But it's always a fun day when they arrive!
Beekeeper Eric:
Sounds like spring here
Beekeeper Eric:
Syrup, strips, and pollen patties. Everything a girl needs
Beekeeper Eric:
Newbees. Still a delight every time I see one emerge.
Beekeeper Eric:
A little spotty, but not horrible for early spring
Beekeeper Eric:
Juicy...
Beekeeper Eric:
Starting to look a little more like spring in the Similkameen too!
Beekeeper Eric:
Hey there gorgeous! Ready to get to work?
Beekeeper Eric:
Early pollen, and pretty too
Beekeeper Eric:
Sun's out...tounges out?
Beekeeper Eric:
If they have no bee bread, let them eat cake
Beekeeper Eric:
Bzzzz
Beekeeper Eric:
That'll do.
Beekeeper Eric:
Really? You pulled me over for that?
