This oak tree is a favorite perch for this osprey that frequents Coffee Pot Bayou.It's always a delightful surprise to look up from the sidewalk and see it there. So still.

Four white pelicans on a fish hunt, rounding up fish on Crescent Lake. They were paddling right towards us. Made me think of the opening credits for the old TV show Bonanza. And bless IG they had the music in their library.

Our neighbor's pink tabebuia is starting to bloom. Such a wonderful neighborhood tradition.

St Pete's glorious kapok tree (also known as a bombax tree) is in full bloom outside of the Museum of Fine Arts. It was planted by the 1st director of the MFA in 1965, when it was only 3 feet tall. 😳

Thursday's afternoon walk on the Washington Ship Canal in Fremont Wa. The Fremont drawbridge sits below the Aurora/hwy99 bridge where the canal enters Lake Union.

Super low tide today so we went for a walk at Golden Gardens Park on the shore of Puget Sound. About 78 and breezy. Lots of happy people.
