The Balancing Rock, Savona.... overlooking Kamloops Lake with Kamloops in the distance. This is a huge boulder balancing on a hoodoo (center of pic) the rock weighs many tons ... it is amazing how it is balanced!

It has been a while since I made some butterfly cards. Here is the first one of a new batch. The butterfly measures just over 2 inches across and is hand beaded and embroidered with French knots.

Remember the tiny crocheted flowers I made on the plane a couple of weeks ago? I have used some to make more 'inchies' . I decided the flowers needed a touch of sparkle so I used a sequin and a little bead for each flower centre.

This is how I occupied myself on a recent Transatlantic flight (Having first checked if I could take a crochet hook on the plane). 9 hours goes a lot faster when you can crochet! I plan to use the tiny flowers to create some new 'inchies'.

Another 'inches' card. The little felt squares measure 1 inch square , the silk flowers are hand stitched in place and embellished with some sequins and beads. In our Etsy shop today ... and I hope to list more 'inchies' cards soon.

On a recent walk ..... I loved how the light shone through the trees... thought it looked like an enchanted forest. 😀 I have played around with the image a bit using the PicsArt app. I really like using the oil painting filter.

Not having much free time at the moment so I haven't been doing as much sewing as I would like. I always carry a little box with me , however, with thread etc ..... so I can get a little bit of embroidery done when I can 😁 Finished this little yellow

We just got back home after a lovely weekend spent in Nakusp , B.C , the weather was amazing! This is the main beach in Nakusp photographed Saturday afternoon.

At sunset last night we noticed this one little cloud which seemed to catch all the sun's light as it was setting. Of course these things never quite come out on a photograph but you can see the little cloud just below the centre of this shot.
