Found a few hours today to work on this oil . I keep thinking I am getting close to done then when it dries I see places that need touch up. One day at a time 😂

Still working on this . each glaze changes everything . Very interesting way to work building up paint in some areas while keeping other areas thin. Beautiful day today. Will leave this painting alone until next weekend. Have a great week

Throw back : a commission to paint this retired hunting dog. Pastel painting 18x 24. I slipped on the stairs delaying my current painting. Just sprained my knee nothing broken. Ice and rest for a few days 😝

Throw back time, I got a touch of food poisoning so no painting this weekend. This is a pastel portrait I did in one of Danial Greene workshops. He was a great artist and teacher.

Today’s work ,making slow progress one day at a time. Only if you compare the photos of the paintings side by side can you even see the subtle changes. Now I understand why it took the old Masters years to finish a painting 😆

Finished the underpainting . Now I will check in 3 weeks to see if it’s dry enough to start the last step. Next week I will find something else to work on.
