Ex-LNER A3 4-6-2 60103 "Flying Scotsman" tookover a special Holyhead to London train at Crewe, routed via Hereford & Bristol Parkway. It is seen here on the approach to Llanfihangel Crucorney & the driver is whistling a caution for a foot crossing ahead.

Normally working hard on llanvihangel bank, Flying Scotsman is restricted to a speed of 25-30 mph approaching a foot crossing where people are wanting a close view, the train is 45 minutes late at this point & is likely to fall further behind as a result
