We have become two old farts with our books and our fireside chairs...our snoring dog between us. But I find middle age strangely rich and rewarding, my fireside chair a joyful landscape with yet a million things to discover...I am ridiculously content.

I found this stunning Moroccan Berber rug on Etsy, it is made thick lustrous wool and just seems to glow! It looks different in different lights ....it's amazing. It was also the most incredible bargain at just over £100. Can't believe my luck!
