rgoetts: They eventually asked if it would be illegal to use our dryer--then they had to find it!
rgoetts: The car group eventually tried putting the shirt on the engine, in hopes that it would help with the melting process
rgoetts: Making progress, the shirt is starting to thaw

rgoetts: Holly and Rachel were still going with the hairdyer. Ethan and Brayden were looking on, as their method just needed time to work.
rgoetts: After a while, the guys in the car added a spotlight, hoping to speed up the process.
rgoetts: Ethan and Brayden may have been the most creative--they put it into the crock pot we had used for dinner!

rgoetts: Alex, Carissa, and Tori eventually discovered a space heater and set to work using it.
rgoetts: Mitchell, Paige, and Aubree started out in the car. They were using the car's heater.
rgoetts: They came inside and tried several other options. Carissa thought using grill tongs might help...
rgoetts: Tori's team tried a lot of different things, here they are throwing it on the ground. I didn't realize it at the time, but she's wearing my shoes!
rgoetts: The rules were no faucets, no stoves, and no microwaves. Holly and Rachel went immediately and found a hair dryer
rgoetts: On January 13th, during youth group, we had a "frozen T-shirt contest" Each team received a T-shirt that was wetted down, folded, and put into the freezer for 4 days. It was a solid block of ice. The challenge was to see which team could thaw their T-shir
rgoetts: As we wrapped up, Paige and Tori decided to give me a nice pose...or something like that.
rgoetts: The shower proved to be pretty effective
rgoetts: Gallery-19
rgoetts: Eventually they came up with another idea--that a shower head is not a faucet, so they decided to use the shower to thaw the shirt
rgoetts: Teamwork...everyone pulling!
rgoetts: The shirt is completely thawed! It may be just a little bit worse for wear though
rgoetts: Almost thawed!

rgoetts: Our whole crew in the alley
rgoetts: This is the alley that we cleared out. You can see that it now is a clean shot all the way through. Before we started, a car couldn't drive down it without getting hit by brush and branches
