Now that I’ve gotten things to stop exploding in my kiln I can take a vacation from repetitively making the same pieces. Here’s a new side table shape I’m trying out.

What can I say, I’m a mold man. Also, I got the studio construction in a good enough place that I could move back in. Nice to trade the chop saw in for the wheel.

Every few weeks for the last eight months I’d excitedly open the kiln to find some version of this lamp destroyed by the fire. I’d carry it’s cracked body to the trash and start over that night. Finally, I decided to ask for some help from people way more
