Melva Bates: This is some Snail Mail I am preparing to send to a friend. The file has a lot of small mono prints inside.
Melva Bates: Bees knees ........ This is a gelli plate printed background with a drawing on top. I used a Pentel brush pen a Micron pen and a white Posca pen to finish off.

Melva Bates: Three pieces the fish were cut with a scroll cutter. Then placed on driftwood found at the beach. I painted that with acrylic paint.
Melva Bates: Here are some more of my wooden scroll cut pieces. I have used different paint techniques on them all. Just to see what happens.....
Melva Bates: This is another practice with the scroll cutter. I still have all my fingers. Thank goodness.
Melva Bates: A friend has just let me borrow a scroll cutter yippeeee. This is my first try, with his help of course. Managed to keep all fingers intact. Raided my husbands bits for the eye. I'm so pleased with him.
Melva Bates: This is a present for a friend. Watercolour background. Then I headed to my stash of Gelli prints. Still needs a little tweaking. Nearly there though.
Melva Bates: This is made up of quite few different Gelli Prints. Then highlighted with Gelly roll pens , white out pen then smudged with charcoal.

Melva Bates: This is one of my Christmas cards that I made from one of my gelli prints from my stash. The idea was taken from a tutorial on Pinterest.
Melva Bates: This is an image transfer glued onto an old gelli print then it was glued on top of another gelli print. I then embellished it with strips of gelli print and used charcoal pencil and a stencil. Bit busy for me but enjoyed playing.
Melva Bates: This is a gelli print that I completed sometime ago. I decided to try and make into some Arti-stamps. Managed in the end after lots of sweat & tears. Now they are ready to send to some of my mail art friends.
