The rain finally stopped here in Antigua and the clouds opened up to reveal Volcan de Agua. The entire week has rain in the forecast but we are praying for more of these pockets of dry weather.

The afternoon showers are gone and I'm enjoying a peaceful evening going through footage from the day and jotting down a few thoughts while taking in the amazing view.

We were granted access to the Santa Teresa Convent that was built in 1675 and destroyed by the 1773 earthquake in #Antigua, #Guatemala. Even in ruins the details that remain of this structure are exquisite.
