Nice garden restaurant in heart of city, met with friend from bible study. Had peacocks and rabbits and turtles too.

Honeycomb at breakfast in hotel. Took a walk to nearby park, saw 5 monitor lizards just strolling, and got drinks…it's hot here.

Streets walking to mall, and inside mall, Siam Paragon. Big tv and spiderman in the store to try to "unlock" my phone & get it working, Thailand's Verizon, "True". Mall is like 7 stories. A group was doing a fundraiser, it was loud but neat.

Walk to the US Embassy for the newcomers orientation, have to pass through a little market, a lady at orientation said she called it Hell's Kitchen, I get it. Hah. It's stinky. Have to use overpass to get to other side for new buildings of the embassy.

Walk to another mall, MBT, next day, b/c first store couldn't fix my phone. May have to get a new one. Another 7 story mall or so. And on way back from dinner, a restaurant called "Meeples & More, Board Game Cafe", hah, that's for Mom. :)

Another shrine thing at the little military compound (with medical/dental/school info and more) called JUSMAGTHAI (Joint US Military …forgot the AG…Thailand) we visited today to get registered and introduced to nurses and all.
