INTPix:
We begin in New Hampshire. Well, actually we begin going in circles around Boston's airport in a rental car, but eventually we find our way here.
INTPix:
Thomas took way more nature photos than I did, plus his camera has this super long aspect ration which makes everything look better.
INTPix:
See, here he is taking photos of stuff, while I'm wasting my life looking at squirrels or whatever.
INTPix:
A some point Bette Davis lived in NH and married one of the locals, who then died a few years later. Here's the plaque she had installed in his memory. It's on the Bridal Veil Falls trail and a bit tricky to find, but we have excellent tour guides.
INTPix:
A kinda edible variety of chanterelle mushroom (according to the mushroom book they're like 99% not poisonous). We left them alone.

Riding the tram up to Cannon Mountain. Last time we visited, it looked like this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/35615884@N07/15088024212/in/album-72157646997712116/
INTPix:
But this time you can see halfway to Canada, or whatever's in the direction I'm pointing my phone at.
INTPix:
We have dozens of photos from Cannon Mountain. This is actually me exercising some editing discretion.
INTPix:
The Flume Gorge hike. It's more peopled and structured than Bridal Veil, but still photogenic.
INTPix:
Speaking of humans, the Old Man of the Mountain crumbled in 2003 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Man_of_the_Mountain), but Thomas inadvertently discovered this new wonder - Depressed Drowning Dude of the Gorge (lower right corner).
INTPix:
A brief trip to the Basin, where Thomas and I take pictures of each other engaging in the outdoor activities we value most. Him climbing rocks...
INTPix:
Old Quebec has walls and gates and such. Because we stopped for beer and then dinner, we first encounter these at night.
INTPix:
I think these walls are also called "ramparts," a conclusion I base on the fact that one of the streets (possibly this one?) was named, "Rue des Ramparts."
