INTPix: The invite.
INTPix: The venue. When I first moved to Austin this place was a video rental (thus the Creature from the Black Lagoon theme), now it's an art gallery.
INTPix: The dining area.
INTPix: The decor.
INTPix: Thomas's mother Sheryl, our decorator, who did an amazing job despite having absolutely zero useful input from either Thomas or me.
INTPix: Sheryl with her assistant, Lydia Cumbee (aka Alex's mother).
INTPix: The traditional summoning of the guests with a tambourine.
INTPix: The Honorable Reverend Gene-dad Reshanov, Esquire (aka Gene Reshanov, aka Alex's father) was the official officiator of the marriage ceremony.
INTPix: The traditional remembering of the vows (don't worry, Jill Alleyne - aka Alex's former stepmother - is standing by with the printed version in case we forget our lines).
INTPix: The traditional figuring out how to put on the rings. Get on there, dammit!
INTPix: The traditional taking of the photographs. Venecia Kelly (aka Gene-dad's wife, aka Alex's stepmother) such a dedicated photo-documentarian that we never get to see her face without a camera in front of it.
INTPix: The deer-in-headlights expression characteristic of so many of our photos.
INTPix: Alex with parental units 1 and 2.
INTPix: Newly married people and their respective parents. Check out all the boots. That's how you can tell it's a Texas wedding.
INTPix: Alex with Gene-dad, who in additional to his officiating duties also provided fine wine and glassware. Cheers!
INTPix: Thomas with his father (aka Kevin Burke).
INTPix: With Russ Cumbee (aka Lydia's husband, aka Alex's stepfather) and Lydia Cumbee (aka...we've covered this extensively already, do try to pay attention).
INTPix: Sheryl with Michael and Beth... and everyone else in the room. If this were Facebook, I could tag all of you, but it's not. On the bright side, the resolution is much better.
INTPix: Toastmaster Lindsay Breithaupt. It was a beautiful toast, Lindsay is a pro at this sort of thing.
INTPix: The photo that makes our event look like some 80's club Andy Warhol would have taken you to on his short-lived MTV show "Andy Warhol's 15 Minutes" (i.e., awesome).
INTPix: When you're dancing, you think you're in a dark room with loud music, but this is what the experience looks like to a camera. (The non-blurry photos look stranger still.)
INTPix: And let's not forget cake...King Cake! What I did forget was to make a thank you toast and the party. Here's what I should have said... (see text below)
