Nice old shot ,Foden S39 26 ton gross tipper ,with 15 yard -Penco body .Brand new outside the old head office ,Cheshunt ,Herts .October 1970 ,this was at Earls Court motor show .OAR 223J .

Another shot of the old Diamond T wrecker ,St Albans sand & gravel,taken in June 1970 ,two Foden S36 tippers -the two that parked there were DJH 147F and DJH 148F.

The next three photos are some of my favourites.A family friend kindly gave me these a few years ago.His late brother took them in June 1970 .The old St Albans Diamond T wrecker parked up in Cheshunt ,Herts ,the head office and workshop .

The Leyland Octopus I drove TAR 349R, parked on the nearly completed M25 ,in between junction 25 and 26.

One of the old TULKON , VOLVO N10 ,6x4 unit and Hoynor trailer-this is either WMP 339T or CMT 850V ,I drove DMT 643V a few years later .

The old Leyland Reiver I used to drive before the Octopus ,just arrived back in Waltham Abbey ,after a service ,part overhaul and repaint -PRL 424M .

My late brother took this lovely old colour shot ,some of the GUY’s at Fishers Green pit ,Waltham Abbey ,Essex -1965-66. Great old days .
