Alfred Fartknocker:
I'm sure this Douglas built Boeing Flying Fortress looks better these days. It's DB-17G 44-83684 (N3713G) outside the 'Planes of Fame' AM at Chino, CA. After a long career as a Drone director, it seems it is to be resored to flying condition again!
Alfred Fartknocker:
Oberschlieissheim AM keep this Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3. It's ex Spain and is really C.4E-106, although clearly not powered by a Merlin. Its werk nummer 790, but wears '28 04'.
Alfred Fartknocker:
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited kept the hundredth Hawk they built for themselves, naming it Hawk i and marking it HAL 100. It doesn't seem to have either a serial or registration. It's a Hawk Mk.132.
