Last weekend my girlfriend and I drove to New Haven to visit friends who've been renting a really sweet apartment on Temple Street close to the Yale University campus. However, we soon noticed that something was... well... just not quite right.

Yes, you can take a three week cruise to Bermuda, but when you return, it's still the same old place. The ship chugged into New York harbor around 8am and I shot this from our cabin window. Jersey City. July 1986

Last weekend, I wanted to drive from New York to my hometown in Connecticut. The Merritt Parkway is always slammed with traffic, so I set the still-functioning Time Machine to August 21, 1950 hoping for no delays... wrong!
