Not my best piece of work, but better done than perfect 😊 I have never drawn anything like this, a really good exercise! Base made with watercolour pencils, polychromos for the majority of the piece. Drawn in an Strathmore mixed media book.

I feel like such a cheat this month but I honestly had almost no free time at all and felt totally uninspired by the reference photo (no shadow on the photographer). So I picked a part of the photo that sparked my interest :)

Roses are pink. April CP challenge. This time I took time to do the piece. & tossed it and started again. & gave up. I hate quitting so I'm gonna see this piece as postponed until my skill level matches my ambition 😉
